Why did I wake at a campfire?
That is your hometown. Humans, Elves, and Minotaurs wake in the Village of Caldrenmoor. Marshwardens wake in Fenhollow. The campfire is the bind until something better exists.
Why did I wake in a guild city instead?
The account's guild owns a plot. Every character on the account uses that Cornerstone. If the plot is lost, the next death sends you back to the hometown. Death & Binding is the full rule.
How do I get my tombstone back?
Walk to where you fell and click the stone. It is only there for a few minutes, and it holds gold, not your gear. The rates are on Death & Binding. Anyone who reaches it can loot it.
Why can't I cast after I died?
Grave Chill. Mana spells are blocked until it ends. Powers that spend stamina still work. A healer's Rekindle clears the chill early.
What do the name colours mean?
That is con: how the creature's level sits against yours. Grey and green are far below you and do not aggro; they also pay less experience, or none. The bands, colours, and XP percents are on Monsters & Camps.
How do Ley Gates attune?
Walk up to a city's Wayfarer. A new hero already knows a few stones. Some circuits are open. Others refuse you until you are a high enough level, or until that destination is attuned — with one first hop that does not ask. The live refusal lines are on the world page.
Why can't I travel yet?
You are too far from a Wayfarer, the two cities are not linked, or the circuit wants a level or an attunement you do not have. Guild stones also refuse arrival to anyone who is not in the owning guild. Departure from a guild stone is open.
Why is that class missing for my race?
The race closes it. Minotaurs cannot take Mage or Rogue. Marshwardens cannot take Mage. The create screen and the race page use the same list.
When can I promote?
When you reach the promotion level and you are standing at a trainer. Each base class has one prestige class. You only do it once. See Classes.
Who is allowed to build?
The Leader. Officers do not place, demolish, or raise the city rank while that permission is off. The costs, footprints, and the current permission are on Guilds & Cities.
Why did the spider drop silk so often?
The catalog chance is the base rate on Items & Vendors. A test switch can raise drops for a while. The items page says whether that switch is on, and what the base chance still is.
Do party members share experience?
Living members near the killer each get the kill's experience, with a small bonus for a bigger group. Gold and drops stay with the killer. The distance and the party size are on Levelling & Stats.
