Account & Characters
Email and password
The character gate signs you in with an email and a password. Register asks you to confirm the password. The rule on the form is 8 to 128 characters.
A new email account is not finished until you open the verification link. The gate stays on the “check your email” step and can resend that link. Signing out is available there if you used the wrong address.
Forgot password? always answers the same way: if that email has an account, a reset link is on its way. The reset page is where you choose the new password.
Google
The sign-in route can also continue with Google (and with X). Those two are the broker's identity providers. Google and X accounts skip the email-verification step, because the provider already identified you. The character gate you see after that is the same three slots.
Three characters
Each account holds three characters, in slots numbered from the first to the third. A fourth create is refused, and a slot outside those three is rejected. Delete is per slot; the name you free can be used again, but two living characters cannot share a name.
The guild does not follow the slot. Membership is stored on the account, so every character you play is in the same guild, wakes in the same city when that guild owns one, and sees the same guild chat. Leave the guild on any character and the account has left it.
